Oak
Inspired by the majestic oak trees that grace all corners of our little island. Every one of them beautiful, their roots and branches reaching back to a history unknown to us now.
The two rings shown here are a 3mm wide band and a 5mm wide band, made in recycled silver. Jess can make these rings using silver, gold or platinum, or you can supply your own sentimental/inherited/scrap metal. You can also choose how wide you would like the ring to be.
The hammer used to create the oak bark pattern naturally satinises the ring, and these two rings have been left with a soft matte finish. If you prefer, the ring could be polished, which would make it much shinier.
