Stone
These rings are inspired by the rough texture and flattened facets of hewn stone. To make these rings, Jess uses her roughest work hammer, transmitting the unique patina the hammer into the surface of the metal.

The larger of the rings shown has been sand cast before hammering to give a roughened, organic edge to the ring. Let us know if you prefer this, or the smoother look of the smaller ring.

The rings shown are a 2.5mm band, and a 5mm band, both made from recycled silver. Both have been lightly polished by hand, to give a finish with a very subtle shine. This is Jess's preferred finish for these rings, but she can fully polish them to make them much shinier, or make them fully matte - either of those would also look good.
Jess can make these rings using silver, gold or platinum. We use recycled silver and either recycled or Single Mine Origin gold, or you can supply your own sentimental/inherited/scrap metal. The rings can be made any width you like, and you can choose whether you want the inside and outside matte or polished.

The beauty of a truly handmade ring is that Jess can make you a ring that is individual and perfect for you, so you can have a piece that's exactly right and you can enjoy forever.
